This wine is named after Captain James Stanley Malpas who lived in our nineteenth century cellar door cottageand who, as a youth, inscribed his initialsin the stone lintell above the front door in 1891. This celebratedwine is a blend of Shiraz, Cbernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon and is made for immediate consumption or, preferably medium-term cellaring. The wine has blackberry and lifted spice aromas. The palate has generous rich fruit flavours supported by fine tannins and has excelent length.
